📂Eric Nelams Case Summary:

It’s been 22 years since Eric’s life was violently taken from him outside his home in Phenix City Alabama while his wife and children were inside. Eric 32 was shot while leaving for work in the early morning hours of September 26th, 2003.

Eric’s loved one’s lives were forever shattered that day yet through all the trauma and loss they had to learn how to move forward to bring Eric justice. Despite the years Eric’s family has been pushing for justice, the case has gone cold. Today Eric’s case is not actively being investigated by the Phenix City Police Department as they state all leads have been exhausted.

What Can I Do to Help?

Eric’s family has created a petition that sits just under 1000 signatures at this point urging Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall to reopen and thoroughly investigate Eric’s case utilizing the Cold Case Unit of the Investigation Division.

Eric’s case deserves fresh eyes and an in-depth investigation, his family deserves answers, and his killer/killers need to be held accountable.
